Dr. David Bear was on the faculty of Harvard, Vanderbilt, and University of Massachusetts Medical Center, where he became Professor of Psychiatry and Chairman of the Department of Psychiatry at UMass Memorial Hospital.

 

A serial entrepreneur, he has co-founded companies in Telepsychiatry, Serialized Tracking of Opioids, Psychiatric Drug Development, and Medication Adherence. Bear has been awarded 8 patents, 3 in the field of Medication Adherence.

The Adherence System is the third device he has co-developed for adherence, utilizing a novel gating system for presenting pouched medications based on principles of Behavioral Psychology.

Walter Frankel is a graduate of Northeastern University with an undergraduate degree in Economics and an MBA in Entrepreneurship.

 

Walter has owned and operated businesses in hospitality, real estate, marketing and healthcare.

 

For most of Walters career he worked in Information Technology leading global teams in service, infrastructure and software development at leading companies such as EMC, Egenera and Schneider Electric. 

 

Walter has also held leadership positions in Human Resources and Finance at Northeastern University and Moodys Corporation.
